OAM has also supported international clients operating in the Niger Delta, the home
of a number of dissident groups opposed to what they consider to be irresponsible
exploitation of oil assets, and the failure of the Delta inhabitants to benefit from the
revenue generated from oil.

Groups such as MEND (Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta) and the
NDA (Niger Delta Avengers) have created serious disruption to Nigeria’s oil industry
leading to production losses in the billions of dollars.
