CONCLUSION
What we learn after doing these activities for autism students, we found they needed
more therapy and approaches to the outside world. They are still able to do it with
the help of their teachers. They are easily distracted by their surroundings and their
movement is quite limited. When we called their names, the reactions are very slow
and some ignore the surroundings. Next, we see their excitement when playing
water bubbles because this activity makes them use their sensory joints. People with
autism have a slow movement. This activity enables them to move and use their
hands and body. We figure out how to play and they can do it very well and there is
always something to teach. Through these activities, we can conclude that with the
use of various teaching and learning methods and strategies, the expression of
autism children can be nurtured and channeled through treatment and therapy.
What needs to be done is that teachers should use methods that may interest these
autism children to engage in activities with other learning disabilities. Kids really like
the way they play in the classroom, watching videos and listening to stories. Please
note, through the above-mentioned methods, children with autism are particularly
well-liked when the researcher is observing the teaching and learning process. After
all, the play method gives children the freedom to express themselves in the face of
the real world. In this way, children can control their situations and adapt to the real
world. Learning through play is designed to impact the teaching and learning process
because through play, they are happy and excited to explore, discover and build
through experiences directly in nature. From the activities it can be concluded that
play is a reliable method and has helped students to develop their potential. For
students with autism, this method can be implemented in the classroom as it can
help build self-confidence, increase self-esteem, give space to self expression and
also promote teaching and learning in a fun and informal setting.
