We use Would you like to ... ? to invite somebody:
0 Would you like to go for a walk?
0 A: Would you like to eat with us on Sunday?
s: Yes, I'd love to. (= I would love to eat with you)

I'd like ... is a polite way to say 'I wane. I'd like = I would like:
0 I'm thirsty. I'd like a drink.
0 (in a tourist office) I'd like some information about hotels, please.
0 I'm feeling tired. I'd like to stay at home this evening.
