Paths and Poems in Frith Wood
Sunday, 24th June, 2018. 9.30am to 12.00 noon
A Ledbury Poetry Festival walk led by the poet, Jean Atkin, on paths through ancient woodland.
Taken at a gentle pace, with pauses to listen to a poem and with some opportunities to respond in writing provided by Jean along the way. Frith Wood features in the Domesday Book and contains traces of medieval coppicing & charcoal-burning activity. These beautiful paths will take us back through the geology, archaeology and natural history of the wood.
