Welcome to Hereford’s famous Cider Museum
Cider is a more complex drink than many realise. It has been the drink of the gentry in town and country, and of labourers in the field. The museum captures the history of this fascinating drink and its importance throughout the centuries.
Displays include farmhouse mills, fine 18th century glasses, 19th century apple paintings and oral histories. Housed in the first Bulmer factory (1889), the old Boardroom and the cellars where champagne cider was made are an important, atmospheric part of the visit. Quality craft ciders, with a Herefordshire emphasis, are sold in our Cider Shop, and visitors are able to sample some on the day. Visitors also love the home-made cakes and scones in our tearoom.
Open Monday to Saturday 10.30am-4.30pm, including most Bank Holidays. Museum entry: £5.50 per adult, Concessions £5, Students and children £3, Family ticket £16.00, Group discounts for parties of 15
or more. Entrance to tearoom and shop free. Free parking. See website for further information.
