Bannau Brycheiniog National Park is one
of a family of National Parks in England,
Scotland and Wales. The National Park
covers 520 square miles of fantastic
scenery. It includes a variety of wildlife
habitats, landscape features and
communities.
Ranging from ancient woodlands, rivers,
natural lakes, reservoirs and quiet valleys
to spectacular waterfalls, heather-clad
moorland and exposed mountains, there is
always something interesting to find.
Stretching from Llandovery and Llandeilo in
the west, to Hay-on-Wye and Abergavenny
in the east, Bannau Brycheiniog National
Park has something to suit all tastes, from
the great outdoors to bustling, historic
market towns. For thousands of years
people have made their living in this area
and have shaped the landscape to what we
can see today.
For people with mobility issues, there are
tourism operators who may be able to cater
for specific needs, for example offering
trips on a canal barge, or pony trekking.
Some campsites in the National Park have
facilities for disabled visitors.

Park and what is available can be found
