 Cracking Walks around Crickhowell
Walking
Crickhowell Walking Festival
Crickhowell proudly hosts one of the country’s top walking festivals.
Held at the beginning of March over nine days including two weekends, the Festival has about 80 walks ranging from gentle strolls up to multi-day high mountain challenges, along with a great programme of evening and daytime events. Celebrate the returning daylight with us, and enjoy great hospitality, scenery and – most of all – walking! More information at: www.crickhowellfestival.com

Easy and Moderate Walks
The companion volume to these Energetic and Strenuous Walks was first published in 2013 and is available from CRiC (see back cover) and from local shops and accommodation providers.
If you fancy a gentler outing on foot with fabulous views and inviting hostelries en route, this is the booklet for you!
Walkers are Welcome in Crickhowell (WaWiC)
WaWiC is run on a voluntary basis by walkers for walkers.
Set up in early 2012, we obtained the sought after national Walkers are Welcome (WaW) status later that year, and our aim is to make Crickhowell an even better place to walk, stay, eat, drink and shop.
Our steering group includes representatives from local businesses, B&B’s and CRiC and has strong support from the Brecon Beacons National Park Authority (BBNPA). Proceeds from our walking booklets are channelled into footpath, access and signage improvements to help walkers, landowners and graziers alike.
