 Transport Rail
The nearest station is at Abergavenny
(7 miles). Trains running about twice hourly connect with Newport (for London Paddington), Shrewsbury, Crewe and Manchester.
Bus
Abergavenny Bus Station is about 500m from the rail station. Buses (X43, 43) from there serve Crickhowell, and then on to Brecon for links to the T4 mid-Wales service. Walks 1 (X43) and 4 (X43 or 43) use the bus to the start, and both services can be used to plan other linear walks around Crickhowell.
Taxi
There are several taxi companies in Crickhowell (useful for getting to the start of Walk 3) and Abergavenny.
Road
Crickhowell is less than 5 miles from the trunk road network at the A465 in Gilwern, with onward links to Bristol (1 hour), London (3 hours), Birmingham (2 hours) and beyond.
