 3.5 Financial and Professional Services
The Financial and Professional Services sector is a rapidly growing part of the economy in Wales. It has a thriving workforce, expertise in data management, excellent infrastructure and broadband connectivity - with competitive office costs.59
30,586 jobs are supported by the sector across the region of South West and Mid Wales, with projections indicating that this is expected to grow by 1.3% over the next three years.
Employment is largest in the following occupations:
• Bank and post office clerks (929)
• Other administrative occupations (908)
• Property, housing and estate managers (743)
• Human resources and industrial relations officers (743)
