Walk 13
This tour follows a flat route, mainly across footpaths and meadows, taking in the old railway line, with information about Hay Railway Station and the services that used to underpin life in the town (coal yard, gasworks and transportation).
Listen to local stories, information about Hay Bridges and the barge-building yard, former ferry jetty and the Eye Well.

Walk 14
An evening walk around the Downs led by a volunteer from the Bromyard Downs Project.
We will look at its past and present diverse uses including discoveries from the recent archaeological and conservation work (and enjoy the orchids and wildflowers).

A short bus trip to Sugwas Pool (pay on the day) where we follow
the Wye Valley Walk through orchards and meadows almost to the River Wye.
Country lane and bridle path rising 50m to Breinton Food Farm
with good views. Field paths to Breinton Church and Warham House returning on the Wye Valley Walk along the river to a ploughman’s lunch and time to enjoy the Cider Museum and Shop.
