We will explore the possible site of this important battle between the houses of York and Lancaster.

From Michaelchurch Escley, the walk climbs c.600 feet along the famed Cefn Ridge, where ancient history peppers spectacular views.
See upstanding remains of the county’s colourful past – its heart, body and soul – from the seldom visited Craswall Priory, medieval ringwork and bailey of Whitehouse Camp to a prehistoric round barrow or Bronze Age tomb of the dead.
