Set in a quiet and peaceful location near Hay–on-Wye and just 18 miles from Hereford City with off road parking and a secure lock up formotorbikesandclassiccars. Weprideourselvesonbeingeco friendly with solar panels and a large conservation area and natural pond. Our mini ark of ducks, geese, chickens, donkeys and ponies along with cats and dogs share the natural habitat with bird and bee loving shrubs, trees and a selection of orchard trees many of which would have been native to Herefordshire in the 19th century. We prepare breakfasts using local sourced produce and we try to caterforspecialdietswhenrequested. Thelocationisagood base for walkers as we are 20 yards from the Wye Valley Walk and theHerefordshireTrail,thereare amyriadoflocalfootpathsand we are only a short drive from the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains. Herefordshire and local history are a personal interest and for those doing family research we are always happy to assist. Open all year for guests

A fine barn conversion to two delightful holiday cottages on a llama farm providing llama trekking all year round. The 2 person 5-star Cider House and 4-person 4-star Pomona Cottage are extremely comfortable, spacious, warm and beautifully equipped. The uncluttered cottages have Wi-Fi, Freeview tv and DVD players. On a working llama farm, guests may arrange a trek with a gentle, companionable, curious, interesting and biddable llama. Set in 10 acres of fields and woods with a stream and lake, the grounds are glorious.
The views down the Monnow Valley are stupendous. Walk the Black Mountains or Herefordshire Trail and visit the churches
of Dore Abbey and Kilpeck. Local fine dining. Short breaks available.
