In 2016 The Big Apple event takes place on Sunday 1st & Monday 2nd May and Saturday 8th & Sunday 9th October. The event is a seasonal celebration of apples, orchards and cider in the east Herefordshire parishes of the Marcle Ridge.
Ludlow Local Produce Market is a large, twice-monthly farmers' market held in Castle Square, selling a wide range of everyday and specialist food and drink produced within 30 miles of Ludlow. On the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month from 9:00am until 2:00pm.
Newton Court Cider is a short distance from Leominster. Paul started Newton Court Cidery back in 2000 on his farm. Whatever time of year you visit, there are cows in the orchards in the winter and lambs in the spring waiting to say Hello!
