Best Cider Pub winner, The Crown Inn in Woolhope is a real community hub and The Angel in quaint Kingsland offers excellent value pub grub, as does the popular Trumpet Inn towards Ledbury, and the Riverside Inn in pretty Aymestrey has retained a long established reputation for its Marches menu.

With thousands of acres of orchards and the perfect apple climate, of course we have to shout about our incredible cider. Producing over half of the UK’s cider, Herefordshire is home to some real biggies. Bulmers was the biggest cider
producer in the world, and is now owned by Heineken, and family owned Westons Cider brings you the iconic brands like Stowfords Press from its Much Marcle operation that’s a great place for a tour and tasting. There are around 90 more artisan cider producers, plus many other juice, beer and wine makers, dotted around the county.
Meet and buy from the county’s incredible producers themselves at the many foodie festivals and shows throughout the year.
