Pull in straight from the road to the ample carpark and venture through the iron gates to discover a little slice of wonderland. With an excellent reputation for beautifully moist and flavourful cakes, the tearoom is a real destination in a wonderfully private setting overlooking a pretty secret garden, in which you can sit on a warm day to enjoy the tweet of the birds and the smell of the rose arch.
Dotted with sculptures and outdoor accessories made by
these very artisans, the private walled garden is a peaceful
place for conversation and contemplation, between fingerlicking indulgences of course.
The rolling garden and gallery exhibitions change every 6-8 weeks. The co-operative of up to 20 artists covers such a wide range of work and the buildings are home to resident sculptors Ed Elliott (wood) and Caroline Green (artist and children’s author).
There is also large variety of workshops to join in with; a full list of which, along with other events, can be found on the website.
