Catch the community-sponsored Hay Ho! Sunday Bus from Hereford to Hay-on-Wye, then follow Offa's Dyke Path to Hay Bluff at 677m on the Welsh border, with magnificent views over Herefordshire and the Black Mountains.
Return to Hay via the beautiful wooded valley of Cusop Dingle in time for tea before catching the bus back (arr Hereford 18.23). Bus fares and tea payable on the day.

Mortimer Forest and the Shropshire Border

Walking up through Mortimer Forest & down to Burrington on the very edge of Herefordshire.
The Domesday Book lists the manor held by the legendary Edric the Wild and the churchyard is renowned for 17C & 18C cast iron grave slabs. Return on the Herefordshire Trail.
