YACHT SERVICE LEVEL 1
INTRODUCTION TO YACHT
& BUTLER SERVICE & HOUSEKEEPING
Overview
YSL1 is an introductory hospitality training course designed speci cally for the luxury service industry. This course introduces students to the concepts of great service, building their knowledge and skills to provide guests with an exceptional experience. This course is targeted those new to yachting and / or the service industry and covers all elements set out in the PYA GUEST I Interior Introductory Service and Housekeeping.
Course outline
Over the course of four days, trainees will be taught the basics of team communication skills and an understanding of appropriate etiquette.
Canape service is taught, as is the rest of the course, with as many practical experiences as possible. Housekeeping and laundry skills are covered, with an introduction to working with a variety of surfaces.
Key outcomes
Students will acquire the understanding and con dence to ensure the industry, with an awareness to how to best ensure maximum guest satisfaction.

¬ CV & Interview techniques
This course is highly recommended for junior steward/esses new to the industry.
Price
Prices are set at €1,200 per course (standard) or €1,350 (with accommodation) for 2016, which includes all training materials for the four day duration.
The number of students per course is a minimum of four and a maximum of six to ensure optimal learning results.
