North
Known for its Black and White villages, north Herefordshire helps you to explore them with some excellent pubs and restaurants in the very buildings that made the area famous.
In its ancient premises overlooking the village green at Kingsland, The Angel Inn serves excellent pub food with an elegant twist as well as a smile, with great themed nights during the week for brilliant value. An award-winning foodie destination under the steer of chef patron Andy Link, The Riverside Inn at Aymestrey benefits from its pretty waterside position in the summer and its cosy atmosphere in winter. You can even stay over in their newly decorated rooms.
South
Dipping into Wye Valley territory, south Herefordshire’s most hidden eateries are often its best. The Cottage of Content has long been established as a food lovers’ den. Prominently elevated in the hamlet of Carey, the postcard appeal matches its culinary dishes for repeat visits that never disappoint.
