Naomi's voice trembled as she scanned the room,
her eyes welling up with tears and frustration. “I
thought I was going to talk about shut up for us
students when they start chasing us online, but it’s not,

She moved to the front of the stage and began to
single out the adults.
“It’s about speaking up to you. And you, and you.
You guys, you’re the adults, like, it's your job to keep
us safe! It's not just about giving us food and a place to
sleep, okay? We need to know how to protect ourselves
from all the crazy stuff that's out there. If you can't
even teach us that, then what's the point? I'm sorry, but
it's true. We need to know how to protect ourselves,
'cause this can happen to anyone. Literally, anyone. So,
