wasn't cut out for it, Rush's confidence took a tumble.
Then, one Wednesday evening, as he was waiting
for a bus, he noticed a woman sitting on a bench,
typing away on her laptop. She looked familiar, but he
couldn't quite place her.
As he approached the bench, she looked up and
caught his eye. They exchanged a brief smile, and Rush
sat down beside her. They struck up a conversation,
discussing everything from their jobs to their shared
love of hiking.
As they talked, Rush found himself opening up
about his job search struggles. The woman listened
intently, offering words of encouragement and advice.
She shared her own experiences of switching careers
and finding success in unexpected places.
As the bus arrived, Rush thanked her for the
conversation and stood up to leave. "Good luck with
