missing? The answer came like a spark of clarity - a
book!
This wasn't just any book; it was my passion
project, the key to unlocking my true potential. I
envisioned a bestseller with a title that would cap-
tivate readers and propel my career forward.
Little did I know, this moment marked the be-
ginning of an extraordinary chain reaction of lucky
breaks. I traded my cameras for a laptop and start-
ed to write—but I didn’t have a clue where to be-
gin. Then a couple of things happened that
changed everything.
The editor of our village newspaper stopped me
outside a local bakery and said she’d seen me on
Breakfast Television. “Why don’t you write an article for
the paper about making people like you?” she
asked.
Why not? I figured an article might even form
the basis of another chapter for my book. The first
article came so easily, I wrote a second. Both be-
came chapters.
The following week, a friend invited me to
speak about “Rapport by Design” at an environ-
mental fair she was promoting. In the afternoon,
my friend told me she’d convinced the guy from
the nightly news to talk to me about my book.
