that’s needed to start the ball rolling, to think back
to that day is strange, because I thought wow, I’m
going to be good at this, and I’ve passed the inter-
view.
Sub 2 – Why am I doing this?
Finally I got done months later, ticket booked,
dreadful thoughts going through my mind, WHY
am I doing this? I kept saying to myself, my friends
we’re “ oh Becky we're so proud of you,” nice, but ,
now in retrospect, it really should have been “ Are
you bloody mad, why do you to do this”? So be it,
it’s done, I leave, you read the first entry in to the
House where we the new comers were staying, lis-
tening to all those stories about the dreadful clients,
etc , Well I gotta tell you it’s not all the clients, it’s
the Carers….. I feel strong. I tell them good things
aren’t as good as you think and bad things aren’t as
bad as you think.
Sub 3 – Coming alive
I arrived at the incredible 200 year old home
right in the middle of nowhere but beautiful coun-
tryside in Easton, this insane home not just being
200 years old, it’s walls are 3 feet thick, hence the no
signal situation for my ipad, but thank god the son
had sense enough to get a WYFI wireless network
