So, how do you make a memorable introduction?
Ask your host or mutual friend to do the honors, but
don't leave it to chance. Give them a script, a brief
rundown of who you are and what you do. Make it
interesting, make it memorable.
"Ainslie, this is Adrian. He's one of Cape Town's
leading church designers" was a far cry from "Ainslie,
this is Adrian. He got soaked coming here, didn't you,
Adrian?" The difference was stark – one introduction
sparked curiosity, the other inspired awkward
laughter.
In the world of strangers, an introduction was more
than just a courtesy; it was a lifeline, a bridge that
connected two worlds. And with the right
