they cook it.”
“I have been to a Mongolian restaurant before,” Dianne
declared.
“Have you been here?” Lucinda asked, then continued.
“The big stars eat here. Do you know who came in the
other day?”
As they got back to their table, Lucinda was still
talking. And while they ate, she kept talking nervously
about other restaurants, celebrities she’d seen, the gym
she went to.
“So what’s all this about a presentation?” Dianne inter-
rupted her.
“I have to make this presentation in two weeks. It’s
the biggest assignment my boss has given me so far, and
I can’t afford to mess it up. I’m hoping you can give me
some pointers.”
“Who’s it for?”
“I can’t tell you that, it’s confidential,” Lucinda said,
looking around the restaurant as if she was afraid some-
one might hear.
“You can’t tell me?” Dianne asks incredulously.
Lucinda nods, saying, “My boss doesn’t want me to
talk about it.”
“A good presentation starts with knowing your audi-
ence, and you can’t tell me? How do you expect me to help
