She gave Billie a simple framework.

one person each day. A text, a call, an email, a
coffee date. Make it a habit.
• The Quality Time Quest: Schedule regular
quality time with the people you care about.
Put it on your calendar, just like any other
important appointment.
• The Active Listener: When you're with
someone, be fully present. Put your phone
away, make eye contact, listen attentively, give
feedback, and show genuine interest.
• The Vulnerability Venture: Don't be afraid to
be vulnerable. Share your feelings, your
struggles, your joys. Authenticity fosters
deeper connection.
• The Appreciation Attitude: Express your
appreciation for the people in your life. Tell
them how much they mean to you. Show your
gratitude.
