NICHOLAS BOOTHMAN
Evelyn listened, a sense of awe and responsibility
settling over her. Her life’s work, once a secret, was
now a global phenomenon.
She saw the vibrant life in Liam’s eyes. She
thought of Mallory, whose anguished search had led
them to this.
"We have to teach them," Evelyn said, her voice
firm, resolute. "We have to show the world how to
access Deep Rest. How to heal themselves. How to
find their own peace."
He nodded. "We will. Together."
The Director. The Vow of Vengeance.
Far away, in a desolate, abandoned cabin, The
Director watched the news reports on a small,
crackling television. His face was gaunt, unshaven, his
eyes burning with a cold, unholy rage.
The company was in ruins. His empire, shattered.
His life, destroyed.
And it was all because of Evelyn. And Liam.
He clutched a small, silver-plated pistol, its cold
metal a comforting weight in his hand. He had lost
everything. But he still had his resolve.
He would rebuild. He would adapt. And he would
have his revenge.
