A Nod From The Universe
It was a crisp March morning in New York City, the
kind of day that makes you feel alive. It was 2008, and I
was on the last day of a grueling twenty-city tour,
promoting my latest book. I was feeling a mix of
emotions - exhaustion, relief, and a hint of uncertainty.
As I strolled down Fifth Avenue, I couldn't help but
wonder how my book would be received. Would it
resonate with people, or would it fall flat? I longed for a
sign, a nod from the universe that the two years I'd spent
researching and writing were worthwhile.
The book opens with a quote by Luciano De
Crescenzo, a famous Italian writer and director:
"We are each of us angels with only one wing, and
we can only fly by embracing one another.” The
word angel comes from the Greek word ‘angelos’,
meaning messenger.
Feeling the need to sit quietly and reflect, I
