Jinji was the first to speak. "That was real. Tell me that was real."
"It was real," Vincent said. "God help us, it was real."
Henry's phone buzzed. Then Jinji's. Then Vincent's. Across the city, across the world, phones lit up with the same message:

"It's not just us," Jinji said, scrolling through her feeds. "Everyone saw it. Everyone felt it."
