PRESERVING THE MAJESTY OF TIGERS: A CALL FOR CONSERVATION

On International Tiger's Day, we reflect on the vital role of these majestic apex predators
in our ecosystem. Their dwindling population, largely due to human activities like
poaching, habitat loss, and climate change, necessitates immediate action. We must
prioritize conservation efforts, safeguard their habitats, raise awareness, and involve the
youth in preserving the Earth and its incredible biodiversity. While tiger populations are
slowly recovering, we must continue striving for their protection, as they are essential
for maintaining ecological balance and securing a better future for all species.
                                                                                  - K.S. Sanjanaa, Grade XII

THE LANGUAGE OF THE UNIVERSE: EXPLORING THE POWER OF
        MATHEMATICS
Mathematics, often regarded as the language of the universe, has transcended time and
continues to shape our world. From ancient trade to modern science, math remains the
foundation of civilization, fostering problem-solving and logical reasoning. Its
omnipresence, from celestial bodies to everyday life, underscores its significance. As

philosopher Galileo once stated, "The laws of nature are written in the language of
mathematics." Embracing math not only deepens understanding but propels us to new
horizons, reminding us that frustration in a math class is a stepping stone to uncharted
        intellectual territories.
                                                                                          - K. Sajan, Grade XII

MATHEMATICS: THE POETRY OF LOGICAL IDEAS AND INTRIGUING FACTS

Mathematics, often considered the poetry of logical ideas, is not only a fascinating field
but also filled with intriguing facts that surprise us. From the largest known prime
number with a staggering 24,862,048 digits to the peculiarities of numbers like a
thousand, forty, and one, math continues to amaze. Discovering patterns, like the sum of
opposite sides of dice always being seven or the unique properties of certain prime
numbers like 2 and 5, adds to the allure of this captivating subject.
                                                                            - Mohamed Numair, Grade XII
