                  Megan is a sociology professor. She has taught for
               the past seven years at UCSC, UC Merced, Monterey
               Peninsula College, and Hartnell College. She also works
               with the Santa Cruz Public Defender’s office, assisting
               with juvenile offenders’ social history statements.
