AG EDUCATION
I currently serve as Chairman of our Central
Young Farmers & Ranchers Coast YF&R chapter. It has been so rewarding to be
a part of such a great executive team. I can’t lead our
organization without the help of my amazing board!
BY JYNEL GULARTE, RIVER RD.
There are 11 of us who sit on the executive board, and
we meet monthly to plan out our general meetings and
tours as well as plan our largest fundraiser of the year -
our CCYF&R Crab Feed usually held in January.
Our Central Coast YF&R was recently awarded the
California YF&R Committee of the Year! We competed
against YF&Rs from each county across the state to win
this award, which our organization has not won since
2007. It was a very special moment for my entire team
and really showed that all of our hard work paid off.
