the power of God that transcends human experience or

human thought, and when humans only receive God’s
Word by faith, it works as the Word says. That’s why God

made Abraham, who would be the fathers of faith, and
Sarah, experience.

What God said “You will have a son” was not that
because Abraham had no son or no children according to

the bloodline in the flesh. Abraham already had a son Ish-
mael, isn’t he? So, God did not mean to give a son to Abra-

ham because of human bloodline, but it meant that He

would send Jesus Christ. Sarah, who listened to the words,
thought that it seemed to be speaking absolutely hopeless,
so it let her laugh. For it was definitely that she looked it

with limited human experiences and thoughts. So Sarah

laughed to herself while listening at the entrance to the
tent. When she thought herself, she could never have a
child, but since God said that, wouldn’t she laugh? I think

I will laugh too. Even you cannot help but laugh. However,

it was said that not only Sarah laughed, but Abraham also
laughed. It was said in Genesis 17:17, Abraham fell face-

down; he laughed and said to himself, “Will a son be born

to a man a hundred years old? Will Sarah bear a child at the
age of ninety?” And God said, “Why did you laugh? Is any-
thing too hard for the LORD?” So Sarah accepted the word
