members of the earth, so let all—which are the lust of the

flesh, the lust of the eyes, the pride of life, such as the de-
sires of the flesh, the greed of the world—put to death, put

the greed of that member to death. That’s why it means
only to let the peace of Jesus rule. If you have become

God’s children who received the life of Jesus, it means
what you must have in the spirit is the Word of Christ. So

just next verse, Colossians 3:16, says, Let the word of Christ
dwell in you richly. If the word of Christ, which is the spirit

and it is life, dwells in you abundantly, life is abundantly

rich, so the peace rules in you. You are governed by the
peace. There can be no peace of Jesus without the Word
in you. There is no activity without the Word in you, so

how can there be peace? If the Word rules in your heart, it

is peace. It is beyond the world. It means that your mind
is not in the world. It doesn’t matter whether you have
worldly things or not. Peace rules in your heart because

you possess the heavens, so there can be no heart in the

world.
Jesus is the same yesterday and today and forever.

If that Word dwells in you, the Word rules in your heart.
Jesus was the one who performed two thousand years ago

the miracle which five thousand people had abundantly
eaten with the pieces of the five barley loaves and two fish
