3. Amru : When is the next bus?
Arga : It is at quarter past eight.
Amru : 8:15! That's too early. I want to get a coffee. And when is
the next one?
Arga : The next bus is at quarter to nine.

Amru : 8:45. OK, I can take that one.
Arga : There is also one at 9:15.
Amru : Hmm. 9:15 is too late. I have class at 9:30.
Arga : Don't miss it then!

D. PRACTICE
This is the example when you want to practice about telling time. Pay
attention to your teacher reading!

Hello everybody. I hope that you are all in a good condition.

All praises to Allah that always give us the blessings in our life
Shalawat and salam are always for our beloved prophet, Muhammad saw.
In this nice opportunity, I would like to tell you about the activities that
I’ve done daily.

From Monday to Saturday, I usually wake up at 5 o’clock in the morning. I
need to prepare myself to school. There are many activities I have to do
before going to school.

First of all, I do my bed until it is very tidy. After that, I do my prayer at
five past five. Then, I sweep the floor at quarter past five. I love to see my
room neat and clean. When I still feel sleepy, I walk around my house. Also,
I do some physical movements to stretch my body until half past five.

Then, I prepare some books based on schedule. I do not want to leave any
book at home. I wash my face, brush my teeth, then have a shower at

quarter to six. Finally, I eat breakfast after wearing my school uniform at
quarter past six. Before going to school I hug my parents. I enjoy learning
time at school. I like to play with my friends too. I go to school at half past
six.

The school finishes at 1 p.m. After school, I change my uniform then have
lunch at half past one. I usually help parents to cook for our dinner then
help to wash dishes after eating. After watching TV for one hour, I study
and do my homework at eight o’clock. At the end, I go to sleep at 9 p.m.
