This research aims to test the Effect of Applying some Technological Innovations on Teaching the
Geographical Curriculum in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to develop some Geographical Inquiry Skills and
AcademicAchievementfortheStudentsofQassimUniversity Toachievethatteacher seditionhasbeen
prepared UnitOne TheNaturalAspectattheKingdomofSaudiArabiaGeography Theresearcherhas
applied some Technological Innovations for example Computer –DataShow–SmartBoardInternet
VirtualClassrooms byusingthefollowingstrategies Discussion,DiscoveryLearningandCooperative
Learning, in addition to preparing a scale for the Geographical Inquiry and the achievement test The
sampleoftheresearchconsistsof students Experimental ,Controlled fromFacultyofScience
andArtsatOqlatAlsuqoor–QassimUniversityStudents TheScaleofGeographicalInquiryhasapplied
the Achievement Test on both groups previously in other words at the beginning of the second semester
intheacademic year – HijriCalendar After thattheExperimentalgrouphasstudiedusingthe
Teacher sEdition,asfortheControlledgrouphasusedthetraditionalmethod TheGeographicalInquiry
Scale and the Achievement Test have been applied as a post test and the results have confirmed that
therearesomestatisticaldifferencesat level intheposttestforGeographical Inquiry SkillsScale
and Achievement Test for the Experimental Group
