Hey Neighbor,
                                                 With longer days and warmer weather ahead, this is a great time to get outside and get involved in
                                                 everything Kent Parks has to offer. From camps and outdoor recreation to classes, events, and creative
                                                 programs, there are many ways to enjoy the season and spend time with friends, family, and neighbors.
                                                 Our programs are designed to welcome people of all ages and abilities. Adaptive Recreation continues
                                                 to open doors for participation, and activities for adults 50 and better offer opportunities to stay active,
                                                 learn something new, and stay connected to the community.
                                                 Live performances through the Summer Concerts add another layer of excitement to the season,
                                                 bringing people together to enjoy music, culture, and shared experiences close
                                                 to home.
                                                 I hope this guide helps you discover something new, reconnect with a favorite activity, and make the
                                                 most of the spring and summer months in Kent.

        Kent Parks, Recreation & Community Services is dedicated to enriching lives. We believe
        that everyone should have the opportunity to participate in recreation activities! A goal
        within our mission is to ensure that every pre-school child and school-age youth residing
        within the City of Kent or Kent School District, has full access to a wide variety of recreational
        opportunities, regardless of family income or ability to pay. Our scholarships help make our
        programs and activities more accessible to the community. Thus far, no eligible individual has
        been denied!
        Scholarships are also available for Senior participants (age 50 and older) for the lunch
        program and fitness center. Senior applicants must reside within the City of Kent or within
        King County. Financial assistance for Adults 50+ is provided by King County Veterans, Seniors,
        Human Services Levy funds.
        Eligibility is based on household income and the number of dependents living in the
        household. Eligibility is in alignment with the Federal Poverty Guidelines and related
        assistance programs.                                                          For more information:
