If ever in Paris you stay
French culture requires you to say
When at un bistrot
Or on le Metro Steve shares this background information about
his limerick story:
“Merci, Bonjour, et Sil vous plait”
French people are not rude…just super-polite and
formal with strangers…and they expect you to be the
same. If you follow these simple guidelines of
politeness, you will find the French to be quite friendly
and helpful to you as a tourist.
