The Association is dedicated to setting,
promoting and upholding the highest
standards of professionalism in the superyacht
industry. The Chefs’ Competition places the
benchmark high, the seminars are enlightening
and the social calendar provides excellent
networking possibilities.
In 2000, MYBA took on the ownership of one
of the most important European trade shows
for luxury charter professionals. Originally
known as the International Yacht Charter
Meeting, the event was renamed MYBA
Charter Show within a few years of the Show’s
move from San Remo to Genoa. After 16
extremely successful years in Genoa, the
MYBA Charter Show was relocated to One
Ocean Port Vell, Barcelona. One Ocean Port
Vell is a world-class home port for
superyachts, perfectly positioned in the heart
of Barcelona. Originally built for the 1992
Olympic Games, the marina recently
completed its transformation to a 148-berth
luxury facility, creating the ultimate destination
for yachts up to 190 metres. Its state of the art
facilities, exceptional staff and experience in
staging large scale events ensure that the
