Easter
Over the past week, we interviewed many students around our Primary School to get a deeper understanding of what makes Easter special.
For many, it was celebrating
by eating lots of chocolate. For others, it was about hot cross buns and a visit from the Easter Bunny. However, at Harvest Christian College we believe Easter is about how Jesus Christ sacrificed himself to show true love for us. Jesus exemplified kindness by sacrificing his life to grant us eternal life in Him and by forgiving our sins even before they were committed.
In 1 John 4:9-11, it says that ‘God showed His love among us by sending His one and only Son into the world that we might live through Him. Since God first loved us, we also ought to love one another.’
This Easter season, we would like to encourage you to make time with your family and friends to spread love, kindness and joy to those around you.
We wish you all a happy Easter!
