 Foundation Cooking
 During Week 4, the Foundations saw the culmination of a long term project bear fruit. Several weeks ago, they planted some spinach in some specially prepared pots in the school garden. Then, over subsequent weeks, nurtured the plants into a healthy food source.
After successfully growing their spinach, the children experienced the process of harvesting it, before making and cooking their own mini-quiches. And then, of course, eating them!
