During Week 5, the Primary SRC and Prefects visited the Adelaide Convention Centre to experience the Halogen National Youth Leaders Day. We heard some inspiring stories from a range of successful Australians: Peter Malinauskas MP (SA Premier), Scott Stuart (Author), Anastasia Woolmer (Australian Memory Champion and ‘Survivor’ Contestant) and Bryson Klein (Australian Ninja Warrior). These stories encouraged our Primary Leaders to follow their passions, do what is right and serve those around us with kindness. We are excited to see how our SRC and Prefects lead our school this year.
Also during Week 5, the Secondary SRC students attended the GRIP Leadership Conference in Adelaide at the Entertainment Centre. The students engaged in group tasks with student representatives from other schools in South Australia. As an added bonus they were also able to meet some of the student leaders from other Tyndale schools.
