Model Bus Supplement Fleet Operator of the Year
Supplement subscribers are once again invited to cast their vote for
Model Bus Supplement Fleet Operator of the Year.
Votes can be cast for whatever reason you choose, based upon vehicles or services operated, or type of operation. Whose reports have you found the most interesting and/or realistic? Now we have photos to look at, liveries, vehicles and presentation might also be taken into account. The only criteria are that the fleet concerned must have had at least one report published in any one or more of the previous four editions of the Supplement (including this one) and you cannot vote for any of your own fleets.
The winning operator will gain the special heading in the four editions of the Supplement starting from the December issue and will be able to be use the accreditation in their own publicity material.
Past winners were, West London Transport (2003), Arden Forest (2004), Eldorado (2005), Town & Country (2006), Southern General (2007), Red Rover (2008), City Transport (2009), Countrybus (2010), National Bus Holdings (2011), Capital & Provincial Busways (2012), Vectis General (2013), Padbus (2014), Quicksilver (2015) and Arden Forest for their 2nd win in 2016.
In the event of a tie, the Supplement Editor will cast a deciding vote.
The result will be formally announced at the Model Bus Federation AGM in October (and subsequently the December edition of the Supplement).
So, either send your vote in with your next report (or separately, any time up until 1st September).
Even if you do not usually submit a report yourself, please send your vote via e-mail or post to the Supplement Editor. We want as many votes as possible!
