THE STORY OF DANIEL THE PROPHET

                 “But go thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest and stand in thy
                                   lot at the end of the days.” Daniel 12:13.


               close. Before it closes, it will settle the case of


               every living man and woman. Day by day we


               are making the record which will determine


               our future for weal or woe. How solemn the


               thought that words once uttered, actions once


               performed, can never be changed. The atoning


               blood of Christ is offered to-day. “To-day if ye


               will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.”



               The life of the fourth beast, especially of the


               little horn, is prolonged beyond the time of the


               investigative judgment. Even after the thrones


               were set and the work in the holy of holies was



               begun,  the  great  words  of  the  little  horn


               attracted  the  attention  of  the  prophet.  The


               greatest  word  ever  spoken  against  God  was


               the  decree  of  infallibility  issued  by  the


               ecumenical  council  in  1870.  This  was  an
