May God work a miracle upon our hearts,

expelling selfishness from our souls and

unseal the fountains of benevolence,

mercy and love. Our Heavenly Father tests

our love by committing to us these afflicted

ones – the widows, the differently-abled, the

impoverished, abandoned, neglected, abused

and/or orphaned children, the hungry and

homeless, the sick and suffering.
