those who are destroyed, will sleep in

unconsciousness until the end of the thousand

years, when the voice of Christ will call them

forth to receive their final punishment. Fire

comes down from God out of heaven, and

devours them, and they become ashes upon

the earth.

During the outpouring of the plagues, when

Christ has left the temple, those in whose

foreheads the seal of God is found, will stand

without an intercessor. To the wicked, that

time will bring the unmingled wrath of God,

but the righteous are hidden under the

shadow of the Almighty. In His tabernacle, he

will hide them “until the indignation be over
