CHAPTER VI. – WHO IS WORTHY TO OPEN
THE BOOK?
John had been taken in the Spirit into the
presence of God. In the fourth chapter he
describes the appearance of the throne; this is
followed by a view of the work of Christ and
others connected with the plan of salvation.
The fifth chapter is only a continuation of the
subject introduced in the fourth;-it is an
introduction to the history given in the sixth
chapter.
Finite man may think himself separated from
his Creator; but “there is not a word in my
tongue, but, lo, O Lord, Thou knowest it
altogether.” “Whither shall I go from Thy
