are to lose our own soul life by bearing the

cross daily.

“And he that taketh not his cross, and

followeth after me, is not worthy of me. He

that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that

loseth his life for my sake shall find it”

Matthew 10:38-39.

Remember we were created in the context of

worship; therefore, we must be recreated by

the same; for the purpose of being blameless.

“And the very God of peace sanctify you

wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and

soul and body be preserved blameless at the

coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1

Thessalonians 5:23.

The Hebrew word translated “salvation” in

this verse refers to deliverance from threat.

Salvation means that God will provide for all

our needs: personal, physical, emotional, and

spiritual.
