corruption.

themselves became an offense.

iii. They robbed God of His glory and

defrauded the world with a counterfeit

gospel.

iv. They became agents of Satan to

destroy the world by their refusal to

surrender to God to help save it.

v. They distorted the people’s

understanding of the character of God,

causing them to look at Him as

tyrannical.

vi. The priest who ministered in the

temple lost site of the significance of the

services they performed.
