                                              hand” Revelation 22:10.



               men,  thinking  that  time  was  about  to  close,


               prepared to meet their God. But the seventh



               angel  had  not  yet  sounded.  He  was  held  in


               heaven for  a  little  space,  that men  might be


               prepared  for  the  events  about  to  come  in


               connection with the completion of the earth’s


               history. “The second woe is past; and behold,


               the  third  woe  cometh  quickly.”  The  little


               period between 1840 and 1844, during which


               the  message  of  Revelation  10:1-11  was


               delivered, was the time between the close of


               the  sixth  trumpet  and  the  sounding  of  the


               seventh.  In  the  tenth  chapter  of  Revelation


               John was told that “in the days of the voice of


               the  seventh  angel,  when  he  shall  begin  to


               sound, the mystery of God should be finished.”
