first, that the United States is not represented

in prophecy; and secondly, that the symbol of

the two-horned beast finds no government to

which it can apply. But the first of these

suppositions is not probable, and the second

But one conclusion can be drawn from these

arguments, and that is that the two-horned

Hemisphere, and that it symbolizes the United
